Instituto de Desenvolvimento de Novas Tecnologias (UNINOVA) is a multidisciplinary, independent, and non-profit research institute employing around 180 persons, located in the metropolitan area of Lisbon. The main aim of UNINOVA is to pursue excellence in scientific research, technical development, advanced training, and education.

The Nanomaterials for Emerging Devices (Nano@HMU) group, is a research unit within the Institute of Emerging Technologies of the Hellenic Mediterranean University, working on the realization of solution processable electronic and energy devices. NANO@HMU is renowned for its achievements on interfacial engineering of perovskite and organic solar cells for improved performance and stability, and on performance evaluation of photovoltaic modules and systems in our own solar testbed. The group has superior know-how on formulating and adjusting the optoelectronic properties of solution processable graphene and other 2D related crystals, as well as on their functionalization and doping for fine tuning of their energy levels and work-function.

Warsaw University of Technology builds upon the traditions of Polish technical universities that used to function in Warsaw – the Polytechnic Institute founded in 1826 thanks to the efforts of Stanisław Staszic and the School of Hipolit Wawelberg and Stanisław Rotwand established in 1895.

JOANNEUM RESEARCH, headquartered in Graz, is a successful national and internationally active research institution owned by the Austrian federal states of Styria, Carinthia and Burgenland. The Materials Center Leoben (MCL) is an internationally active research institution specialized in materials, production and processing engineering and innovative material applications. We are focussed on metallic materials, ceramic materials and their composites. The MCL carries out cooperative research and development projects with industrial partners and offers a comprehensive range of services.

Constituted as a Collaborative laboratory (CoLAB), ALMASCIENCE is an applied research organization focused on innovation, development and deployment of cellulose-based smart and sustainable applications.

The Information Technologies Institute (ITI) was founded in 1998 as a non-profit organization under the auspices of the General Secretarial of Research and Technology of Greece, with its head office located in Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 10.3.2000 it is a founding member of the Centre of Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), also supervised by the Greek Secretariat of Research and Technology.
