LINKAM Temperature Control System for Microscopy and Spectroscopy

LINKAM Temperature Control System for Microscopy and Spectroscopy
Country/Institute
Austria • Joanneum Research (JOR)

Technique: Heating-Cooling stage

Acquisition year: unknown

Contact person (Joanneum Research): Barbara Stadlober (barbara.stadlober@joanneum.at)

Responsible: Martin Zirkl (martin.zirkl@joanneum.at)

Description:

The system consists of a LTS350 stage, a T95-LinkPad System Controller and a LNP95 liquid nitrogen cooling pump.

The LTS350 is an easy to use and very versatile heating and freezing stage. The stage consists of a large area temperature controlled element with a sensor embedded close to the surface for accurate temperature measurements in the range of < -196°C to 350°C (when used with LNP95 cooling pump). The sample is easily mounted on a standard microscope slide in direct contact with the heating element and can be manipulated in both X and Y directions. The sample chamber is gas tight and has valves to allow atmospheric composition control.

Specifications:

Maximum temperature: 350°C

Minimum temperature: -196

Maximum heating rate: 30°C/min

Temperature stability: ±0,1°C

Control stability: ±0,1°C
