Responsible: Marco Deluca (marco.deluca@mcl.at), Barbara Kosednar-Legenstein (barbara.legenstein@mcl.at)
Description: The UV confocal Raman microscope is an advanced method to acquire chemical and phase compositions, texture, phase transitions, residual stresses and structural information non-destructively with a resolution down to the optical diffraction limit (~ 200 nm). It is possible to analyse the distribution of different phases from the sample surface and inside of transparent samples including 3D information.
Specifications:
- Solid-state laser 355nm
- DPSS Laser 532nm
- He-Ne Laser 633nm
- Motor driven x-y-z table
- Pulsed laser for time resolved measurements
- Temperature range: -196°C up to 600°C
- Polarisation analysis
- Type of samples: Ceramics, semiconductor, polymers, metal oxide, carbide, carbon, powders and liquids are also possible
